According to the Call of Duty Next Event back in September 2022, Call of Duty Warzone Mobile was given a release date window of 2023. The game is set to launch globally this year. Still, we haven’t heard any updates from the developers.
According to Activision, the game was set to release on March 10, 2022, but it’s been confirmed that the game is still in development and will be for quite a while.
Warzone Mobile fans in the UK and U.S. are still awaiting a global release date for the title as it’s only available in select regions such as Chile, Norway, Sweden, and Australia. The limited release took off in Australia back on November 30.
Activision is still planning for a Call of Duty Warzone Mobile global release. Players in other regions will have to wait it out for a while before they can get their hands on the portable iteration of Warzone.
In March 2023, the upcoming title began regional testing for Sweden, Chile, and Norway. The reason for this slow and methodical limited-release approach is that devs are figuring out how to manage the game before it’s set out in the wild, i.e., the biggest regions in the world.
When the global release happens, players all across the globe will get to enjoy the title.
So, what are your thoughts on COD’s global release date? Will we get it soon, in 2023? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below, and stay tuned for more updates on The NerdStash.
