Starfield has proven to be one of the year’s biggest hits, as people have been eagerly clamoring to get their hands on this spacefaring title. However, some might not be as lucky due to not owning an Xbox console or a powerful PC. Thankfully, Samsung is giving an option to let players try Starfield on its TVs. All you need is an active Game Pass subscription, a compatible controller, and one of the eligible Samsung TVs for this to work. Overall, it is an accessible choice for those who wish to play Bethesda’s latest title.

How To Play Starfield on a Samsung TV

Play Starfield on Samsung TV | Samsung

To play Starfield on your Samsung TV, there are a few things you’ll need. As mentioned, you can only do this with an active subscription, the right controller, and eligible screens. Those with 2020 and 2021 models can try the game from the Xbox App. If you have a 2022 or 2023 model, you can play Starfield through the Samsung Gaming Hub.

Before trying it, we recommend you check if your TV model supports any of the aforementioned apps. If you don’t see them, chances are the apps aren’t supported. However, don’t fret because Samsung has made gaming on its TVs much easier, and most models should allow you to try the game on them.

When Is Starfield on Game Pass? Answered

That Samsung TVs let players enjoy Starfield without a console or PC is fantastic. Lately, we’ve seen the world of gaming reaching places we never thought it would. We’ve already seen Netflix take a huge step in gaming, and Samsung isn’t falling behind. Hopefully, we’ll get more games that can be played without expensive consoles or PCs. It is also fantastic that Microsoft is looking for ways to allow players to try their first-party titles without spending much money on them.

Starfield is available now on Xbox and PC through Game Pass.
