Final Fantasy IX was released for the Android and iOS devices early this morning. Google Play and Apple Store have Final Fantasy IX for $17, with a 20% discount lasting from February 10th to February 21st, 2016. No word yet on when Final Fantasy IX will be re-releasing on the PC and Steam app program but should be fairly soon prior to the news regarding launching mobile devices.
Final Fantasy IX has been remastered for the mobile devices by adding sleek new features like higher quality cinematic and character models, Achievements, Autosave feature, and boosting mechanics dealing with battle encounters. The title has a ton of memory to be download on a mobile phone (4 gigabytes, to be exact) and has been advised to take some time when downloading. Also, problems have been arising with bugs and loading screen glitches. Hopefully, Square-Enix fixes these problems as soon as possible.
Following the original story, Princess Garnet of Alexandria was on the run from the evil Queen of Alexandria. Soon after, Princess Garnet was captured by the Tantalus Troupe on the Theater Ship. She encountered with an odd click of party members. These members include the Black Magi Vivi, Dragon Knight Steiner, and a thief named Zidane Tribal. When released originally on Playstation 1 back in 2000’s Final Fantasy IX sold more than 5.5 million copies worldwide.
