While Bethesda is more of a synonym of franchises like Elder Scrolls, another of the big ones they’ve created is Fallout. Given how the last Fallout 76 was a mess during its launch, the previous titles of the game are still loved by many. Especially Fallout 3. However, right now, during the 25th Anniversary of said games, Bethesda has announced something. Fallout 4 Next-gen update has been confirmed and it is arriving next year. This update will make use of the new consoles’ capabilities and functions. Which, for people who haven’t played the game yet, is something great.
Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update Will Arrive Sometime In 2023
There isn’t a set date yet but it is still good news. While most people would like to hear about the next Elder Scrolls title or even a new Fallout title, it is still great to see a new update for a beloved game. While Bethesda is working on Fallout 5, as announced by Todd Howard, there are modders who are trying new things for the game. Fallout London is a huge mod that players can try if they feel bored after playing the same game over and over. So, while we wait for the Fallout 4 next-gen update, this is one way to pass our time.

It is important to note that, according to the developers, they are focusing on Elder Scrolls 6 right now. But, it seems that after they finish that, Fallout 5 will follow. So, it might take a long while until we get something new. But, at least the Fallout 4 next-gen update will give players the chance to revisit the game. It would be good if they also did that with games like Fallout 76 or keep improving upon that. Yet, we’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for the franchise.
