The Real Housewives of Orange County fans are slamming Tamra Judge after she revealed she struggles with “empathy” because she is “on the spectrum.” During an episode of her Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Tamra tearfully shared the news with her co-host, Teddi Mellencamp. “I just did my first therapy session,” Judge began before sharing the “big” news. “Let’s just say I found out something pretty big about myself that I didn’t know.”
As Teddi scrambled to get the news out of her, Tamra shared: “I am on the spectrum.” After Mellencamp’s initial reaction, Tamra added, “Don’t make me cry,” before sharing more details. “My biggest problem is working through trauma that I had in my life.”
“I just thought that things were black and white to me,” the Bravo reality star shared. “But after talking and going through everything and my emotions, and I have a hard time with empathy and feeling other people’s feelings … there’s a reason why.” However, many Real Housewives fans aren’t convinced Tamra’s recent claim is why she has trouble connecting with her co-stars. So, what are they saying?
Real Housewives Watchers Label Tamra a ‘Nasty Trash Human’ After Years of RHOC
After Tamra Judge’s statement revealing that she’s “on the spectrum” went viral, Real Housewives fans added their two cents. And it’s safe to say that they are not here for it.
“Oh f*ck off, Tamra,” one user wrote. “Autistics don’t have a problem with empathy; they have too much empathy. You’re a narcissist. So, at the very least, on the spectrum, along with several other disorders [that] make you a nasty trash human.”
Another user shared similar feelings, saying Tamra’s claim was “nonsense.”
“She’s making up excuses for her being a horrible person. Trying to fake being neurodivergent is an all-time low.”
The reactions to Tamra’s podcast episode aren’t surprising. The reality star, who’s been on RHOC since Season 3, has gotten much pushback from fans since the start of Season 18, which began airing in July 2024. After turning on her former best friend, Shannon Beador, following her DUI charge, watchers were completely done with Tammy Sue.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Judge responded to the people calling her out for her dumping on Shannon during a low point in her life. “I’m being reactive, for sure,” she said. “Was I being sweet? No.”
“I do regret ever calling her an alcoholic,” she continued. “I do regret that, but at that point, I was just pushed against the wall, and I’m like, you know what? It’s very hard for me since I’ve known her and the struggles with alcohol and, getting in an accident, getting a DUI, and still drinking. I can’t wrap my brain around that at all. At all.”
Tamra’s news comes after the cast filmed the RHOC Season 18 reunion. However, if the Bravo vet returns for Season 19, surely, she’ll be talking about this new revelation.
