Farrah Abraham is sparing no expense when it comes to giving her daughter the teenage experience of her dreams. The former Teen Mom star shared the news with TMZ before sharing scenes from car shopping with her 15-year-old daughter, Sophia, on Instagram. After some scenes showing them perusing different cars, Farrah revealed Sophia chose a Cybertruck as her first car.
The big purchase requires some waiting for the teen. First, the Cybertruck will take some weeks to be ready for her. Then, she has to wait until she gets her full driver’s license. Farrah is currently working through a driver’s ed course with Sophia, who obtained her learner’s permit earlier this year.
Fans of Farrah may remember her driving a 2009 Dodge Neon as her first car in Teen Mom. Moments in the car were often featured between Farrah and her estranged mom and when she traveled to her waitressing job.
Farrah’s Parenting Is a Much-Debated Subject
Farrah Abraham has been a controversial figure since the early days of 16 & Pregnant. All grown up and raising a teen of her own, not much has changed in that department. People who have followed Farrah and Sophia’s lives online sometimes wonder how Farrah’s style of parenting will pan out.
When it comes to the car choice, there were some feelings that it was out of touch. Others said it was too “much” of a car for the first-time driver to manage.

Farrah is no stranger to the criticisms about her parenting, or addressing them. In fact, her and Sophia plan to broach some subjects on their joint podcast, Fearlessly Female.
Only in its second episode, the podcast featured a peek at the family’s dog, Cupcake, whose ears and tail were dyed black to “match” Sophia.
