FBI Fires Handfuls of Agents Who Were Photographed Kneeling Over George Floyd Protests in Washington, DC, ‘The Country is Being Held Hostage by a White Nationalist Administration’

This seems like overstepping on a whole new level

Sometimes, what you believe may be the right choice could actually be your downfall. Or, in some cases, it could mean the loss of your job. Recently, as many as 20 FBI agents were fired from their positions after a 2020 incident. Why? Apparently, they were present at the George Floyd protests in Washington, DC several years ago. They pulled out a trick to deescalate tensions during the protests, thinking it was a solid plan. However, than plan now cost them their jobs.

According to Aaron Parnas (@Aaronparnas1), several Federal Bureau of Investigation agents were fired due to a 2020 incident in Washington, DC. The FBI agents were photographed kneeling with protestors during the George Floyd protests. The protests happened soon after George Floyd was killed by a white police officer, who kneeled on his neck. The incident sparked a major outcry and FBI agents were brought in to try and keep tensions under control in major cities.

Approximately 20 people were terminated from their positions due to the event. The agents said the reason why they kneeled was because they were confronted by a group of protestors. The agents decided to kneel as a way to deescalate tensions with the protestors. The kneeling worked and they eventually moved on. Though officials at the FBI reviewed the incident and said it wasn’t violating policy, a second look this year led to action. FBI officials rereviewed the incident and decided to fire the agents. Apparently, according to the FBI, it goes against Trump’s policies. He did state that he wants them to be less “woke” in their ways.

Imagine getting fired for doing what you believed to be the right thing at the time. One commenter asked on the news video, “The question is were they doing their job. Over the past 10-15 years the FBI has become a political corporation instead of the FBI.” Other commenters didn’t seem to understand why they decided to kneel. One asked, “Was this DEI special group? Good riddance get rid of this pack of dummies.” It seems this commenter didn’t really listen to the reasoning behind the kneeling. They apparently didn’t do it to stand in solidarity with protestors, but to instead get the protestors off their backs. But, reading comprehension and understanding is at an all-time low.
