It was a big day for both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead which air on AMC. Trailers for both of the series were unveiled today at the San Diego Comic Con. The Walking Dead showcased its trailer for the upcoming season eight while Fear revealed quite a bit of footage from the second half of its third season. Jeremiah Otto may be gone but Broke Jaw Ranch still appears to be a powder keg waiting to explode.

The season three trailer for Fear the Walking Dead showed Walker and his men coming to the ranch. Perhaps some deal was brokered between Madison and him. Not only is this bound to cause conflict with the members of the ranch but Troy Otto as well. It’s very clear he’s not happy to have the “enemy” there. With all the extra people at the ranch, this no doubt leads to a water issue. With the ranch running desperately low on such a vital resource, it appears Madison ventures out to find more alternate sources. It’s clearly shown in the trailer that Madison runs into Daniel presumably at the dam.

While a reunion with Daniel was all but confirmed, one might question the amount of footage that was shown in the trailer. Obviously, the show could still go a number of ways. It does, however, seem that much of the story line was laid out. The mystery woman seen talking to Madison might very well be the female villain that was teased for season 3. A showdown between Madison and Troy also appears to potentially take place. Will Troy find out the truth that his father didn’t die by his own hand?

Are you excited for the second half of Fear the Walking Dead? Do you feel like the trailer showed too much? Be sure to let us know and check back on September 7th for our review of the all new episode.
