After a boy in Tampa, Florida, got in trouble for bullying a classmate at school, his mother decided to take matters into her own hands. By forcing him to carry Kool-Aid Jammers, the boy, crying, understood the lesson, or that’s what the internet is hoping for.

The clip of the Kool-Aid punishment was shared on TikTok by Lawrencia Dixon. The 35-second video shows the boy, Chase, crying as he carries a box of the aforementioned beverage pouches.

“Since he wants to go to school and be a bully, this is what bullies get,” Lawrencia captioned the clip. As her son cried, she said, “You wanna go to school, you wanna be bad, and you wanna not listen, this what’s gonna happen every time. MOVE THE ELBOW!“

“I know it better not hit the ground,” the Florida mother added, while Chase continued to cry.

The video went viral, garnering 1.4 million views and more than 4,000 comments. While some believed that uploading the clip was unnecessary, the vast majority, mainly parents who were previously bullied or had kids who were being bullied, applauded Lawrencia.

“Parents are parenting again, the world is healing,” one user said. Another one commented, “As someone who was bullied my whole life, tell him to lift it a little higher.” A third one said, “As a mom of a daughter who’s being bullied…thank you.”

Learning The Lesson?

Days later, in a follow-up video, Lawrencia explained that Chase had gotten in trouble after he pulled someone out of a chair and then took the chair himself. Chase admitted he wouldn’t want someone to do that to him, but then he answered some of his mother’s questions in a way that suggested he might have failed to learn the lesson.

“I learned to not bully people and not get in trouble at school no more,” the Florida boy said. When Lawrencia asked her why, he said, “Because I don’t like the punishment.”

The internet, again, blasted the boy.

“Bro did not learn that smirk says everything,” one user commented. Another one said, “Actually, he might need another one bc it doesn’t sound like the right answer.” A third one added, “Matter of fact, add another box of Kool-Aid next time.”

While his answer appeared not to satisfy the internet’s hunger for justice, hopefully, Chase did, in fact, learn the lesson. Otherwise, those jammers will come in handy once again.
