During the past expansions, Square Enix has brought many improvements to the Player vs. Player content of FFXIV. While in the past, people only queued to these activities for quick experience gains, nowadays, people dive head first to get currency to buy some of the game’s best cosmetic items. If you want to collect all the PvP gear released with each update, here we’ll tell you how to get Trophy Crystals in FFXIV in the most efficient way.

The best way to get Trophy Crystals in FFXIV is by doing PvP content. But some instances reward more experience to get this currency faster. Before we delve into that, remember that obtaining Trophy Crystals is only possible through leveling up your PvP Series level. To do so, you’ll require PvP Series Experience. With that out of the way, here’s the content we recommend running:

  • Daily PvP Roulette
  • Crystalline Conflict Casual Matches

While you can queue to individual activities, it’s much better to try these two. You can only get rewards for the Daily Roulette each day; however, you can spam Crystalline Conflict matches and get the same rewards. It’s important to remember you can also get some good Series Experience if you lose; still, we recommend you give it your all to get as much experience as possible.

Trophy Crystals in FFXIV serve as currency you can exchange for cosmetic rewards, some of which include:

  • Frame Kits for Character Portraits
  • Job-specific dyable armor sets
  • New Universal Cosmetic Gear
  • Glamour Weapons
  • Chocobo Bardings
  • Orchestrion Rolls

To get these items, head to the Wolves’ Den Pier and head to the Quartermaster inside the main building. To unlock the Wolves’ Den Pier, you must do the following:

  • Reach Level 30
  • Do your Grand Company quests
  • Head to your Grand Company’s HQ and take the “A Pup No Longer” quest.

Doing so will unlock the PvP area where you can exchange the currency you’ll get from your PvP Series.

That wraps up how to get Trophy Crystals in FFXIV. As you can see, the road might be grindy, but it’s worth it. The developers keep adding several new outfits you can get by participating in some lighthearted PvP fun. Luckily, the game’s community is relaxed when it comes to competing against others, so you won’t have to fear any toxic rivals.

And, if you want to check how Crystalline Conflict works, here’s an in-depth video by The Nasty Namazu that explains everything perfectly.
