Days after Charity Lawson offered her final rose to Dotun Olubeko and ultimately got engaged on the grand finale of The Bachelorette season 20, the Bachelor Nation is ushering in a fresh batch of singles into the BIP haven for season 9 to begin another quest for love. The BIP season 9 cast features many known faces from previous seasons of various Bachelor Nation franchises, all eager for another chance at love.
The franchise recently offered a first look at the upcoming BIP season 9, introducing the cast to eager fans with a 90-second clip. The teaser, which featured the theme song, Almost Paradise, unveiled some unexpected faces and appearances from former bachelorettes like Hannah Brown, Katie Thurston, Rachel Recchia, and even newly engaged Charity Lawson.
Rachel Recchia Rekindles Love Quest on BIP Season 9
While some of these former bachelorettes may simply breeze in, Rachel joins the BIP season 9 as a full-blown cast member vying for love. In the first look at the Bachelor in Paradise teaser, the flight attendant looked resolute as she spoke to the cameras about her new quest, saying,
“Getting a second chance, I think things happen for a reason.”
Rachel reiterated the significance of the opportunity to join the cast on social media shortly after the BIP season 9 teaser aired. Sharing three unique pictures of herself in tears in different scenes in the franchise, the star promised an emotion-packed BIP season, which would mark her third time on the ABC dating show. She captioned,
“Completing the holy trinity of tears. Tune in to @bachelorinparadise Thursday September 28th.”
Notably. the 27-year-old first won the hearts of Bachelor Nation fans as a contender for Clayton Echard’s heart on Season 26 of The Bachelor. She later became a co-bachelorette on The Bachelorette Season 19 alongside Gabby Windey. However, her engagement to Tino Franco was short-lived after discovering he cheated on her. She has since remained in the market, awaiting the right one.

The first look at BIP season 9 also spotlighted Bachelor Nation favorites like Aaron Bryant, Brayden Bowers, and Sean McLaughlin. Blake Moynes, who became engaged to Katie Thurston on The Bachelorette season 17 also joins the season. Other notable male singles gracing the Mexican paradise include Will Urena, Aaron Schwartzman, Sean McLaughlin, Tyler Norris, and Peter Cappio.
The list doesn’t fall short of exotic female love contenders from various Bachelor Nation franchises. Some notable names include Greer Blitzer, Catherine Wong, Jessica Girod, Eliza Isichei, and Samantha Jeffries. Katherine Izzo, Kylee Russell, Mercedes Northup, Brooklyn Willie, and Olivia Lewis among others would also join the BIP season 9 cast. Like Rachel, Blake, Tyler, and Eliza are returning to the franchise for a third chance at finding love on screen. Perhaps the third time would be a charm.
