It always surprises us when players suggest good ideas for an early-access game, but Palworld trainers might be taking it up a notch. In Palworld‘s official subreddit, several gamers have stated that they don’t care about QoL improvements; instead, they’d love to see their fluffy creatures develop an addiction. Now, we aren’t surprised, given how the game lets you run a weapon factory with colorful characters, but having the poor Pals become addicted might be both disturbing and interesting.
Palworld Players Wouldn’t Mind Seeing Their Pals Do Drugs
In the above subreddit thread, many players have stated how they feel about drugs coming to Palworld, which seems to be a popular opinion. Now, we already know this world isn’t a stranger regarding certain themes. We have Pengullet rocket launchers, some creepy Paldeck descriptions, and even a Syndicate that captures and sells Pals, but drugs? Yes, it seems players want that over QoL improvements for Palworld. Thankfully, others are thinking more about the medical part of this instead of giving their poor friends and addiction.
Honestly, having this feature in the game would be a first in a creature-collecting title. So far, we’ve seen many things that set it apart from other big genre franchises. So, maybe addictions could add another layer of gameplay and planning to the mix. Besides, if we already run an assembly line for weapons, maybe a laboratory of sorts wouldn’t be such a bad idea. I can already see many players naming their Lamball ‘Heisenberg’ and calling it a day.
Undoubtedly, Palworld has a lot of room to grow, and a drug mechanic could be a fun contrasting thing to have. To this day, it is still amazing to see a monkey-like creature brandishing an AK-47, but that’s how life is in this archipelago. And while I would love this feature, I also think Palworld is in serious need of certain QoL improvements. There are still plenty of pathing issues and bugs that affect multiplayer servers. However, it’ll be up to the developers to see what they add first. But, if they decide to give us a way to create a drug empire, I wouldn’t mind putting my companions to work on that.
