A now ex-employee at a McDonald’s restaurant in Columbus, Georgia, has gone viral for her reaction moments after she was fired from her job. The woman, who goes by @17_loveolderwomen on TikTok, filmed herself dumping a whole cup of soda on the unsuspecting manager whom she says terminated her employment. The incident left many netizens divided, with some finding the former employee’s retaliation amusing while others argued that she crossed a line.
According to the former employee, she and the manager had always butted heads to the point that she had even considered quitting. She said on the day of the incident, the manager caught her making herself a snack wrap and became upset before firing her.
In the video that was posted on TikTok, rather than leaving immediately, the former employee grabbed a cup and filled it with Coca-Cola Zero from the restaurant’s drink dispenser. She then walked over to where the manager was bent over working and threw the drink onto her back.
The manager immediately gasped in shock as the soda splashed over her. But before anyone else could react any further, the former employee dropped the cup and walked out of the restaurant.
