Week 13 of Season 5 in Fortnite saw the addition of several ambiguous objects in the game. One of them, in particular, are these strange purple trees that have appeared out of nowhere. These are called Crystal Trees and one of the tasks in Week 13 includes destroying them. Although it might seem straightforward, players have struggled to locate and destroy the Crystal Trees. Here is a guide that will help players in slashing down the Crystal Trees in Fortnite.

Where To Find Crystal Trees in Fortnite

Crystal Tree location in Fortnite

A recent explosion in the game led to the formation of a huge desert in the middle of the map. Surrounded by Pleasant Park, Salty Towers, and Hunter’s Haven, it is pretty big and visible on the map, so you can easily reach there. Although Crystal Trees are spread throughout the desert, locating them can get tricky. Players need to destroy 5 in total to pass the mission, which might take some time. They spawn randomly, so there are no fixed locations for the trees. The best approach for completing the mission would be to land on the desert at the start of the game, so you get enough time to destroy 5 in total. Another thing to keep in mind is that there are also Crystal Rocks in the area, which many might confuse for Crystal Trees. Destroying Crystal Rocks will help you in stacking up rock fragments that allow you to teleport short distances. However, you have to destroy trees and not rocks to complete the mission.

The fewer trees on the location make this challenge a bit harder. There will be other players as well who will have the same goal as yours. It might take several rounds to finish the challenge, but overall it’s pretty straightforward to do. The reward for finishing the task is 20,000 XP. Hopefully, this guide helped you in destroying Crystal Trees in Fortnite. If it did, be sure to let us know in the comments below. As well, share it around so it can help others!
