As the Star Wars Celebration event kicks off in Anaheim, California, and just ahead of Ewan McGregor‘s return to his role as the iconic Jedi Master in the Disney+ series, Kenobi, Obi-Wan is making his way to the Battle Royale Island of Fortnite. Just like many of the crossover skins and gear that have been added to Fortnite over the years (including fellow Star Wars characters), players will want to know how to unlock and play as the iconic character. This guide will explain to players when and how they can get the Obi-Wan Kenobi Skin in Fortnite.
How To Get The Obi-Wan Kenobi Skin In Fortnite
Players that won their respective region in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup Duos Tournament on May 22nd were able to unlock the new skin for free earlier than anyone else, so that’s why you might have seen the Jedi Master in the game a few days early. The Skin will release on May 26th at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET and on May 27th at 1 AM BST. Unfortunately, this isn’t a skin that you will be getting from a challenge, but rather it will need to be purchased. Players will need to buy the Obi-Wan Skin from the Fornite Item Shop to use him. There is no word on when the Obi-Wan Kenobi skin is expected to leave the Item Store.

Along with the Obi-Wan Skin, several other items and cosmetics are themed after Kenobi that players can buy. These include Desert Essentials Back Bling that comes with the skin, Obi-Wan’s Blade Pickaxe, Jedi Interceptor Glider, Obi-Wan’s Message Emote, and Kenobi, Surrounded Loading Screen. These items can be purchased together in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Bundle. All of them, except for the Loading Screen, can also be purchased separately from the Item Shop.
Fortnite is available for PC via Epic Store, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
