Fortnite was originally released back in 2017, and with the years, it’s seen loads of changes. Currently, it’s included a new POI Mega City that’s replaced Faulty Splits. With it, come new biomes, like Kenjutsu Corssing, Knotty Net, and Steamy Springs.
But if you’re not enthralled by the new Japanese biome assortment and want to live the old-school good old days, then check out Fortnite’s old map. Atlas Creative Studio has put the old Fortnite map back in the limelight using Fornite’s latest creation tool.
With it, you can create custom game modes on the Unreal Engine 5. With Atlas Creative Studio’s custom game mode, you can relive the days of Tilted Towers, Loot Lake, and all the original Points of Interest seen in the map’s lot pool. Just head on to the Creative Map Section and enter the code 2179-7822-3395.
While the new Unreal Engine 5-powered map tool has created a lot of versatility and flexibility in creating new custom games and maps, it’s got its fair share of issues. Developers are having a hard time posting maps, and Atlas Creative had a few run-ins as well.
Recreating an exact scale of the original Fortnite map was impossible due to memory issues. So, the developers decided to scale things down a bit. But there are a few other bugs in the mix. Atlas sent their apologies, and they’re currently on an update.
So, are you going to try out the old Fortnite map recreated by Atlas on Unreal Engine 5? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Stay tuned for more updates on the NerdStash!
