Forza Motorsport developers finally revealed more details about the game’s online functionality, and there are features fans should be pleased to see. The game’s multiplayer mode will have an advanced matchmaking system, regular events, and small tweaks to increase the online races’ enjoyability. The development team is also dedicated to fighting against the toxic environment and making everything fair in online matches. Forza is focusing on an improved multiplayer mode this time instead of only updating the single-player content, and all the new changes it announced will play a big role in the expectations from the game.
Forza Motorsport Will Come With Advanced Multiplayer Features
In the previous announcements, we learned that the game comes with more than 500 cars, advanced AI players, and a more realistic game experience. Forza Motorsport‘s latest blog post goes into detail about the online mode and mentions further details about the multiplayer mode. According to that, live events will always be updated to keep the action alive, and the new matchmaking system will fight against toxic players. For example, even if your rank is high, you’ll start matching with toxic players if you’re always blocking players and ruining the game.
Another new feature about matchmaking aims to automatically set the race settings as how the players in the lobby like. For example, you’ll automatically vote for rainy weather if you like racing under rainy weather. That’s just a part of the new stuff we will see on Forza Motorsport. The actual improvements should be made by the events and challenges after the game’s release. All the new details about the driving behavior pooling and the multiplayer content sound like we could see a new age for the multiplayer features of the entire Forza franchise. The game is releasing on October 10 and arriving on Game Pass day one.
