Telltale Games has announced that season two is in development. News comes just a few days after the release of the last episode for Game of Thrones season one.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Telltale’s CEO and co-founder Kevin Bruner revealed that Game of Thrones was always planned to be a multi-title, multi-year partnership with HBO. So, the second season had always been planned. “The questions left on the table at the conclusion of season one, who survived and who didn’t, as well as all the other choices you made play a huge role in the second season,” Bruner says.
Bruner did not disclose just how far along Telltale Games is into the production of the second season. He also did not reveal when fans of the first season of Game of Thrones could expect the second season to happen. As of now, fans of the game and series are probably just happy that a second season is indeed going to happen.
Speaking of the first season, the last episode of Game of Thrones season one was released just a few days ago. The episode reveals the fate of House Forrester due, in part, to player decisions. Get the last episode or the whole season today on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
