Square Enix has revealed a new trailer for Just Cause 3 at Gamescom titled Burn It.

While not much more was shown in relation to the plot of the game, we do get a look at the dictator that protagonist Rico must take down to free his home of Medici. The new trailer is more focused on destruction and chaos, giving the destruction physics a real big chance to shine. Along the way, Rico blows up  cars, helicopters, trucks, buildings, and even a massive cargo plane, many in imaginative ways.

The new Burn It trailer showcases an in-game mission for the very first time, revealing the variety of ways the player can tackle any given mission or objective. In the mission Better Late than Never, Dictator General Di Ravello instructs his forces to send an army of tanks to destroy the town of Costa Del Porto and take the rebels hostage. Enter Rico Rodriguez to put things right using his varied and unique explosive arsenal.

Along with the new trailer comes the announcement that anyone who purchases Just Cause 3 on the Xbox One will receive a copy of Just Cause 2. The title will be playable through the backwards compatibility that Microsoft announced at E3 this year. Just Cause 2 will be joining hundreds of other Xbox 360 titles that will be backwards compatible to be playable on the Xbox One.

Just Cause 3 is set for release on December 1 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
