The future has arrived! In celebration of the date 10/21/2015 finally arriving, Geek Fuel included a commemorative Back to the Future sticker, pin, and a replica of the “Save the Clock Tower” flyer with a phone number and “We Love You” written on it. People who called that number didn’t get Jennifer on the other line, however, some of them were the lucky winners of a prize.
Great Scott! What a great idea and implementation from Geek Fuel! We get a copy of the ‘Save The Clock Tower’ newspaper, with a phone number to call on the back – and 88 (nicely done) people will win a prize. I wasn’t one of the 88 – we’re you? It also includes a ‘Save The Clock Tower’ pin from the first movie as well! Awesome!
Guardians of the Galaxy was also represented in their box this month with a Pop! Figure of Yondu.
Not being completely familiar with this character, I did a little research and, according to Marvel.com, Yondu not only comes from Guardians of the Galaxy but, he is also an honorary member of the Avengers.
Going along with the theme, they also included this Guardianade drink in case you need an energy pick-up while playing games late at night.
The next item in the box was this t-shirt representing Video Games live, a concert that celebrates some of the amazing music from video games.
If you want to know if they are coming to a town near you, you can go to their website and check out their schedule.
Time to nap with Admiral Ackbar with this pillowcase.
On the off-chance there is someone reading this that doesn’t get the humor, this is playing off the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, except it’s “The Force Sleeps.” Creative! Right?
The free downloadable game code Geek Fuel chose to include in this box is a zombie shooter game for the Windows. It looks pretty cool in a whole Walking Dead kind-of-way.
And, as always, there is a GeekFuel magazine and postcard with a description of the contents of this month’s box.
There is still one more day to order this month’s box! It is available until 10/31/2015, so don’t wait if you want this one. Remember to support The Nerd Stash by using the Referral Link! Sign up through this link and you will receive a bonus item with your first order!
