What’s in the Box?
Let’s take a look at the October 2019 GeekGear to get an idea of the items you would receive in this box.
The first item in the box is this IT inspired Time To Float T-Shirt. It is a little creepy but Pennywise usually is, right?
The next item is this retro Licensed and Exclusive Super Mushroom Print. If you are a Mario fan, you will love this print!
I always love a good journal to use for notes or writing down thoughts and this Licensed Premium Venom A5 Notebook is perfect for this.
This replica of the original Iron Man mask is pretty cool, however, the picture makes it look much bigger than it is. Even though it is small, it would make a nice conversation piece to put on your desk or a shelf.
Another item that looks much bigger in the picture is this Frostmourne Sword Replica. It is probably not even six inches long but it would make a nice letter opener.
There was a pack of Lightseekers Awakening Booster Trading Cards and Lightseekers Astral Deck Starter Pack. I’m not familiar with Lightseekers but that does not necessarily mean anything. Trading cards are something that has been around for a long time and they wouldn’t exist if someone didn’t like them.
What I liked:
In this GeekGear Classic Box, I liked the notebook and t-shirt. All the other stuff was pretty cool but, for me, the t-shirt and notebook would be the two items I would use.
What I didn’t like:
To say I didn’t like anything in the box would be a far reach. Most of the items were pretty cool and I could see someone enjoying most of them. The only thing I could find to critique would be the size of the Iron Man mask and the Frostmourne Sword Replica. Looks are deceiving from the pictures. Even so, it wasn’t much to complain about as I am sure there is a size limitation on what will fit in the subscription box.
