Today, HoYoverse hosted its Special Program for Version “Luna II” in Genshin Impact, and gave us a glimpse of what’s coming. Some of the highlights include the next Archon Quest with some familiar and new faces, a lot of events, a new 5-star playable character, and more. However, one of the biggest announcements was regarding its UGC system, Miliastra Wonderland, which is launching alongside this major update. So, whether you want to continue traveling around Nod-Krai or want to create an entire new mode for other players to try, this version is one you can’t miss.
Genshin Impact Version ‘Luna II’ Launches on October 22 With Its UGC System
Version “Luna II” of Genshin Impact will continue the Archon Quest, and will again put Rerir under the spotlight. However, Varka is finally stepping out of the shadows to join the fight, and two other Fatui Harbringer allies will come along, one of them being the fan-favorite Arlecchino. But that’s not all, as Nefer will also join the fray, and not only as part of the story, but as a playable 5-Star catalyst character who wields the Dendro element. Furina will accompany Nefer’s debut during the first phase, while Zhongli and Arlecchino will get their re-runs in the second half of the update.
Of course, many events are coming to this update, with a seasonal one taking place in Sumeru, another focusing on dancing, double rewards when farming certain items, and more.
Yet, the biggest surprise is the arrival of Miliastra Wonderland, the long-awaited UGC of Genshin Impact, which launches alongside Version “Luna II.” Here, players will be able to experience over a hundred different player-created game stages that range from PvP mayhem and adventure challenges to sim management and more.
You’ll also be able to create your avatar, called Manekin, which will let you customize its facial details and outfit. If this is all a bit daunting for you, however, there will also be presets to help you enter this Wonderland as fast as possible. Also, as a UGC system, players can take the role of Craftsperson and dive into Miliastra Sandbox to create their stages with many features we’ve seen in Genshin Impact.
While the initial launch of Nod-Krai was massive, “Luna II” might be one of the most significant updates of Genshin Impact to date, especially with the addition of this UGC system many of us have been waiting for. Fortunately, we’re only a few days away from experiencing this as players or as creators. So, whether you want to see what’s in store for the Traveler or see what other fellow players are capable of creating in Miliastra Wonderland, you should save the date and jump into this update as soon as it goes live.
