A Georgia mom recently turned to social media for help making her daughter’s birthday wish come true. Her 12-year-old daughter, Lindsay, has a rare genetic disorder that affects only about 150 people worldwide. The mom described her as “sweet and kind to everyone she meets,” someone who brightens every room she enters.
With Lindsay’s birthday approaching, her mom wanted to give her something truly special. When she asked if there was any celebrity she’d like to meet, Lindsay didn’t hesitate — she said, “Lindsay Lohan.”
The Georgia mom isn’t asking for much: just for her video to reach Lindsay Lohan in hopes that the actress might send a birthday message to her daughter. She also invited anyone who saw the post to send Lindsay a birthday card or a short video if they had the time.
It’s easy to understand why she wants this birthday to be extra special. In the past, Lindsay’s birthdays haven’t always gone as hoped. On one occasion, no one RSVP’d to her party, leaving her mom heartbroken. She felt so bad that she ended up giving her daughter a phone earlier than planned, just to lift her spirits.
The mom also posted a video of her and Lindsay, and the young girl is simply a ray of sunshine despite everything she went through. Hopefully, this year’s birthday will be the best one so far, and Lohan will actually see the video. There are already several comments under the actress’s most recent video asking her to make Lindsay’s wish come true.

A lot of people were emotional after seeing the Georgia mom’s video. They wanted to make Lindsay’s upcoming birthday perfect just like the mom wants. Her efforts didn’t go unnoticed because one woman told her, “First of all, you’re an exceptional person and mom! I would love to send her a card‼” Others started sending Lindsay gifts and cards too as another woman said, “Just wanted to let you know that the post office has Lindsay’s package. Hope she loves it!” A third woman agreed that kids like Lindsay are the kindest. “I work with someone with special needs and they have the absolute kindest souls, and I too have referred to him as a dog as well. So innocent and forgiving. Would love to send Lindsay a card if given an address. Happy birthday Lindsay‼” she said.
More people kept trying to come up with solutions to make Lindsay’s wish happen. “You should see if Lindsay Lohan does cameos and then set up a go fund me to cover it! I would donate!” one person wrote. Unfortunately, another person replied and said, “Lindsay Lohan is on Cameo but she has a waitlist.” There was a glimmer of hope, though, as someone wrote, “I don’t have Lindsay’s number but I work at Walt disney studios in Burbank and my boss does have her number. I sent him this video to pass on to her! So hopefully she responds. Happy Birthday to your little girl Lindsay.” Even if Lohan didn’t respond, I’m sure Lindsay’s birthday would still be special with all these happy birthday wishes and cards.
