When you decide to take an Uber ride, you assume that you will find comfort and safety. Unfortunately, things could go wrong sometimes due to different reasons. For example, the driver could get into a road rage incident or maybe both of you start disagreeing about something. It turns out there is another way to have your ride ruined. A Georgia passenger was left horrified and shocked after he found a roach moving next to him while he was in an Uber ride. He immediately stood up and started removing his seatbelt. “You have a roach in your car. I’m so f**king serious,” he tells the driver during the chaos.
The driver tries to be helpful while the guy is standing up to avoid the roach. He hands him an air freshener to spray the insect with and kill it. Since the Georgia passenger was probably anxious, he thought that the freshener with actually bug spray. This made him ask the driver why he had a spray in his car in the first place. He also accused him that he knew that he had roaches there. After killing the roach, the guy asks “Do you have roaches at home?” The driver tries to defend himself and says “It’s not me.” I mean, there was a discarded food wrap on the seat, which means that the car wasn’t that clean in the first place. The innocent passenger also made sure to mention Uber and write in his caption: “Unacceptable!!! He knew he had roaches in the car the whole time!”
People Reacting to the Georgia Passenger’s Roach Situation
It wasn’t just the Georgia passenger who was left shocked and disgusted after seeing the roach. Some people even started saying how they would have reacted if they were in the same situation. “Wtffff baby the way I would of jumped out while the car was moving,” one woman wrote. Another person said, “I’m sorry but I would’ve passed (not out…).. Just passed!” Others started claiming that the driver’s car was filthy which could explain why the roach was there in the first place. “And who’s food wrapper is that,” someone asked. Someone else also said, “Roaches in the car different type of nasty.” It certainly doesn’t look good. In addition to this, several people started saying that they would have canceled the ride immediately.
Not everyone was coming after the Georgia driver. Some people tried to defend him and find an explanation for what happened. “Not you calling that man air freshener some bug spray. He was embarrassed enough! Probably came from another passenger tbh,” one person wrote. Someone else said, “He does uber. I’m sure someone brought bags in his car and they brought them in. It’s not that hard to figure out.” Well, this might seem possible. Aside from those who defended the driver, few people went as far as to say that they would have started a fight with him. I mean yes, it’s disgusting, but it’s not that serious. He even managed to kill it in the end.
