Georgia Woman Says Man Took Eggs From a Goose’s Nest and Threw Them Into Lake: ‘Why Are People So Miserable?’

A woman in Carrollton, Georgia, accused a random man of entering her grandmother’s property, approaching a goose’s nest, grabbing her eggs, and throwing them on a lake. Fortunately, the eggs were returned to the goose, who was visibly sad after such an inappropriate act.

Jenna, known as chickenladyjenna on TikTok, shared what happened online. She regularly shares farmlife content on her account, and this clip is no exception. In just a matter of days, it became her biggest, garnering 944,700 views, 123,600 likes, and 2428 comments.

According to the Georgia woman, a man on a boat approached the goose’s nest inside her grandmother’s property. They caught him allegedly grabbing the bird’s eggs and throwing them all into the lake.

“She’s still on her nest, but you can just tell she’s so sad,” Jenna said.

Another woman, Paisley, took off her boots and jumped into the lake to retrieve the floating eggs. That way, the eggs could be placed back in the goose’s nest, with her hopefully accepting them.

In total, Paisley managed to grab five of the seven eggs on the nest. The Georgia woman then slowly approached the goose and left the eggs near the nest. The bird hissed, but then she was shown getting the eggs back.

Thrown Eggs Spark Outrage

Many were straight-up angry at the unnamed man who allegedly threw the eggs into the water. One viewer asked, “Why are people so miserable?” Another one said, “I hope you called the cops.”

Others, worried about the goose and her eggs, hoped this incident would have a happy ending. One viewer commented, “I hope she accepts them.” Another one added, “I need an update of mommy on her eggs.”

The clip’s infuriating nature is a good gateway to virality. People react with anger, and since an animal is involved, the topic becomes even more sensitive. At the end of the day, this translates into lots of comments, signaling the algorithm that the clip is likely to go viral.

Thankfully, according to the Georgia woman, the bird ended up returning the eggs. She will post an update when and if the eggs hatch.
