In 2020, Moonshine Studios released their co-op action game Get Packed on Google Stadia. In the almost two years since its initial release, the game made its way to Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation as Get Packed: Fully Loaded. Now, the Nintendo Switch version of the game has a release date. Today, Moonshine Studios and publisher Coatsink announced that Get Packed: Couch Chaos will release on April 28.
Couch Chaos will include exclusive content upon release
In Get Packed, players must work together to pack up and move the entire town of Ditchlington as quickly as possible. According to today’s press release:
“Get Packed: Couch Chaos is the local couch co-op removals party game that’s full of calamity and carnage for 1-4 players. When a greedy salt mining company takes over Ditchlington, Last Ditch Removals must handle the hostile eviction. Being the only moving crew in town, demand has far outweighed supply, so there’s no time to dally! Snatch people’s stuff, throw it in the truck, and move on to the next house… leaving a trail of destruction, explosions, and debris in your wake!”
Get Packed: Couch Chaos includes new minigames and game modes exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
“Following an expanded edition that added a truckload of new content that is now available on Switch, this new version also adds a new selection of minigames alongside a full campaign, Time Attack, Versus and Destruction Game Modes.”
A blog post on Coatsink’s website revealed even more about these exclusive minigames:
“Be the last one standing in Last Ditch Brawl, duck dodge, dip, dive and dodge to be the champion at Ditchlington Dodgers, and try not to come crashing in like a Wrecking Brawler. Suck up the most spectres with your trusty vacuum cleaner in Ghost Hunters or why not take each other on in 1v1 or 2v2 in Bowled Over and Salty Soccer.”
