With Easter, this weekend gaming fans would patiently be waiting for some sort of sign by Steam to release a Video Game discount sale but Gog.com has beaten the company to the punch. Gog.com has unleashed a worldwide sale to cause a bad case of sleepless nights in their Sleepy Sheep Insomnia Sale.
How the Sleepy Sheep Insomnia Sale worked was any game from the Gog.com catalog would appear on the main title page and have a limited amount of copies available to grab. These titles are discounted and range from 40% – 80% off with randomly selected hit games such as Tales of Borderlands series ($7.49) and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ($25)! The sales sell like hotcakes on National Pancake Day so making a quick and decisive decision will be required for most of the sale. Some deals do double back and make an appearance but nothing has been guaranteed as this was a flash sale.
Sleepy Sheep Insomnia Sale has not confirmed on how long the deals will be going on but hinted by stating, “– ‘Till games run out.” The deals are still ongoing and can be found on the main site here. Gog.com (Good old Games) is a DRM-Free website revolutionizing the way old school gaming is played on modern day computers. All the video games on the website are easy to download and sometimes come with original manuals (Pdf’s) or other bonus materials including soundtracks or maps.
