McKayla Maroney showed off her Sunday best while weaving in both her faith and football on Instagram. Posting for her 1.3 million followers in November 2022, the 28-year-old sizzled in a stylish Gucci outfit, rocking a leggy miniskirt and thigh-highs as she stunned from a balcony.
Highlighting her gymnast figure, the retired Olympian checked boxes for weekend style, and with over 22,000 likes left, it looks like her post was a hit. McKayla, who is best known for her London 2012 Olympics appearances, officially retired from gymnastics in 2016.

Striking a pose from a balcony overlooking a city horizon at sunset, McKayla modeled a thigh-grazing black miniskirt to match her chic black shirt.
Going relatively form-fitting as her button-down blouse fed into her belted skirt, the California-born sensation afforded a minidress finish, making sure to show off her designer edge as she completed her ensemble with a Gucci logo belt. Adding pops of gold around her toned waistline, McKayla also wore black thigh boots, upping the ante in her heels while toting a dark pair of shades.
Clutching a minuscule black purse, McKayla wore her dark hair down as she kept glam with plenty of makeup, then sharing a relaxed car selfie, plus a home video showing her OOTD. Further slides included a sports stadium, with everything tying up together in a caption.
“Love the boots,” one fan replied, although another seemed shocked as they asked if McKayla had worn “that to church?”
This wouldn’t be the first thigh boots look from McKayla. In February 2022, the beauty posed from her backyard while showing off a chocolate-brown ensemble, this time opting for a leather miniskirt teamed with suede boots. Rocking a ribbed, short-sleeved top, McKayla sent the camera a wistful gaze as she wrote: “Old soul. Youthful energy.”
Of her style outside of gymnastics, McKayla told Teen Vogue:
“It’s a little bit edgy, but casual at the same time. Sort of how Miley Cyrus dresses! I really like crop tops. I like how you can dress them up or down, with jeans or a skirt and heels. I like to be showy and cute. I don’t want to be in just a jacket and pants and boots.”
