McKayla’s Instagram is followed by 1.4 million, with celebrity followers including fellow Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles and Nastia Liukin.
McKayla Maroney Shows Instagram Her Gym Look
Kneeling on a workout mat and with natural light pouring in from a window behind her, McKayla stunned the camera as she showed off her toned abs and waistline, plus her muscular legs and arms.
Rocking a fade-effect sports bra in light and dark blue, the Glowy by McKayla founder added in figure-hugging gray leggings, posing with a water bottle near her and also sporting her highlighted locks down. Keeping her glam fairly low-key, the star showed off a cute pink manicure, but she was hitting the gym with a little makeup on!
Tells Fans ‘Anything Is Possible’
Fans also got a selfie of McKayla as she lay back on a mat and sent out a soft smile, plus a text change showing someone in a rough patch getting support.
In a caption, the Gold Medal winner told her fans: “Rise and shine,” adding: “Whatever you’re going through you CAN come out the other side brighter, and more refined!!!! It’s okay to rest, heal, and take days off, but never give up on yourself, and your happiness. With God all things are possible.”
“😍 Gorgeous 😍,” one fan replied, with another calling the much-loved gymnast: “Wonderful.”
Not long after her gym share, McKayla returned to IG with an outdoor snap, this time posing in a plunging black crop top and herringbone pants in black and white. Soaking up the sun, she told fans: “**Edit caption: I don’t wear this necklace anymore. I threw it out, along with a lot of other new age things. At the time I thought it was “angelic” and of God, and “spiritual protection” but I was wrong. Jesus is the only spiritual protection we need. :)”
A quick scroll through McKayla’s social media shows her many edits regarding the necklace. In fact, it appears that she’s gone in and manually edited all captions to posts seeing her in the above necklace.
