Olivia Dunne has sparked somewhat of a debate on Instagram after a fan, likely intending to compliment her, asked how “man [sic] can be gay” this week. On Tuesday, the 21-year-old LSU gymnast turned heads as she shared photos from her Sports Illustrated Swim return, and it was a skimpy affair as she posed in a tiny bathing suit.
Thrilling fans with her figure as she posed outdoors in her two-piece, Olivia shouted out the magazine she made 2023 headlines for first featuring in, and it looks like fans were thankful she hit “post.” That said, not everyone seeing the “gay” comment was impressed, although some quickly concluded that the user was a “troll.” Olivia is followed by 5.2 million on Instagram and counts Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin as a follower.
Gymnast Olivia Dunne Shows Off Swimwear On Instagram
Posing in profile amid lush green lawns, Olivia highlighted her minuscule waist and toned torso while also flashing hints of her pert derriere. Outfitted in a cheeks-out bikini in white and with ribbed-effect fabrics offering an unusual edge, the Instagram favorite showcased her bronzed body while turning her head to the camera, also lifting both arms up around her head.
Flaunting a golden tan and with plenty of bronzer makeup shouting out summer, Olivia stunned with her long blonde hair down, nailing her bombshell vibe and even returning for a 2.0 as she modeled a strapless purple bikini in her second slide. In a caption, she wrote: “We’re so back @si_swimsuit.” Fans have left her over 500,000 likes.
Debate Sparked With ‘Gay’ Comment
Gaining over 8,000 likes was a fan who wrote: “How can man be gay.”
While the remark infuriated some and appeared not to take the LGBTQ community seriously, it also launched a wave of replies. “No it’s philosophical to ask “how can man be gay?” when looking at a beautiful woman,” one user replied. Patronizing the initial commenter, but also voicing their disapproval, another fired back saying: “He’s struggling with small words and punctuation. Don’t use words like Philosophical. He’s not ready.”
Meanwhile, a further fan seemed lost. “Who’s gay?” they asked. One user called homosexuality “mental illness.” Unsurprisingly, their remark did not gain likes. “Bro that’s a troll account,” a fan also replied. Others, meanwhile, congratulated Dunne on her big return. “Well done,” one wrote.
Olivia boasts an even higher following on TikTok, where 8 million are subscribed to her feed. The star is also signed to an array of brands, not limited to Plantfuel, Vuori Clothing, American Eagle, and Nautica.
