Gypsy-Rose Blanchard‘s estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, has broken his silence about the baby daddy drama. His name made waves earlier this week when sources claimed his ex planned to run a DNA test. According to the report, Blanchard wished to close her chapter with Anderson and clarify her baby’s paternity. However, the latter claimed he had never disputed that the child wasn’t his but Ken Urker’s.
In a TikTok post, Anderson told fans he was shocked to learn about the DNA test. “I think it’s so strange to me because I’ve never once questioned who the baby daddy was. Never once said I’m gonna make a fuss about it or I’m gonna prevent this or do that,” he explained.
“I’ve never said anything like that. I’ve always said, ‘Guys, it’s not my baby.’ Like, I’ve always said that. And I just think it’s funny. You know, it hit me last night. Guys, Gypsy’s probably already had that procedure done,” Anderson continued, adding:
“Because you wouldn’t tell TMZ about it unless you knew for a fact who the baby daddy already was. So, Ken, congratulations. You’re still a homewrecker, in my opinion. But that is your baby. I’ve never fought that.”
Anderson confessed he was heartbroken about Blanchard’s refusal to contact him about the test. “It’s sad that I have to hear about it through TMZ as far as the test being done. It’s really sad,” he admitted.
Fans React to Ryan Anderson’s Thoughts About Gypsy-Rose Blanchard’s Paternity Test
Anderson’s post sparked mixed reactions from fans, with some advising him to move on and focus on himself. “This man will make a woman so happy one day. He deserves so much more than Gypsy,” someone declared. “Ryan, you dodged a whole bullet with that one. You will find your happy ending. Good things come to those who wait,” another supporter echoed. “You’re a real one, Ryan. The right one will come along,” a third chimed.
Meanwhile, some fans supported Blanchard’s decision to keep Anderson out of the loop. “Sir, it’s for the divorce… and why would she call to tell you?” A TikTok user pointed out. “She has to have a DNA test legally ’cause you’re married,” another noted. Anderson’s comments about the paternity test come days after the news broke earlier this week.
Sources claimed Blanchard wanted to give the public and her estranged husband some closure about her baby’s father. Besides confirming her unborn child’s paternity, Blanchard needed the test for the baby’s birth certificate. Anderson would automatically be listed as the father under Louisiana law because their divorce hasn’t been finalized.
A DNA test proving his status was needed to put Urker as her child’s father on the certificate. We reported that Blanchard would cover the bill of the test and run another one after her child’s arrival.
