Hades 2 has hit Steam and Epic Games Store, and it’s already receiving rave reviews. Supergiant Games has promised to give this highly anticipated sequel regular updates; it’s in Early Access, after all. Considering how much content already exists during its initial release, the developer’s ambition to go above and beyond is quite inspiring. From new areas to decorations, there is a lot of new content that fans can expect, according to the Hades 2 update roadmap.
All New Content in Hades 2 Future Updates
Although Supergiant Games doesn’t have exact dates for Hades 2‘s future updates, the developer has planned some exciting content for fans. First of all, don’t expect the full release in 2024 since Supergiant Games has stated that the game will need more time in the oven.
However, the developer is already preparing for the first major update sometime in 2024. This new content will likely drop several months after the Early Access release. Here are some things that Supergiant Games will add to Hades 2 according to its roadmap:
- New region
- Crossroad update
- New main weapon

Hades: Weapon Aspects Tier ListThe world of Hades 2 is already massive, but it seems we’ll get one big new area in future updates. Besides new enemies, you will also meet new characters and other exciting surprises.
If you miss decorating the underworld, don’t worry. The developer has already planned to add the ability to decorate the Crossroads in Hades 2. All that I ask is that the disco ball makes a return in the sequel.
The last future big content in the Hades 2 roadmap is the new main weapon. So far, there are four weapons that Melinoe can use, but the developer plans to add one more. It will also include new Weapon Aspects, which should make combat more interesting and fresh.
