Harry Hamlin Thinks Lisa Rinna’s RHOBH Exit Is Right
Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna walked the red carpet at the 80 For Brady premiere at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California on January 6. It marked Lisa’s first public appearance since she announced she was leaving RHOBH for good.
Speaking with People at the premiere, the actor expressed his thoughts about his wife’s decision.
“It was the] correct decision, the right decision to make at this point after eight years,” he said. “I think she took it as far as she could take it, and she elevated the show. Eight years is a long time to do anything, the same thing over and over again. It’s time to move along,” Harry concluded.
The 71-year-old also disclosed that Lisa already has a few projects lined up, so they will both be busy.
“I’ve got [80 for Brady] and Mayfair Witches coming out, and then she’s already talking to studios about getting going on something else, so I think we’re going to be really busy over the next few months.”
Lisa Rinna’s Exit Announcement
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star announced on Thursday, January 5, that she would leave the Bravo series after the last season. The TV personality said to People on Thursday:
“This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series.”
Lisa also referred to her future projects adding that she looked forward to coming tasks. Her contract with the Bravo franchise expired at the end of the last season. The socialite and Bravo reached a mutual decision that she would not return for the 13th season after she weighed her options.
Lisa Rinna’s RHOBH exit also comes on the heels of a rocky time on the show during the last season. Addressing the issues, Harry claimed that Lisa often ran into trouble because she was too honest. He added that Lisa could never close her eyes to injustice, so she often “got into hot water on the series.”
Lisa Rinna did her best on the show, and fans will be sad to see her go. On the other hand, Lisa’s sharp tongue got her many foes who would be happy with her exit.
However, regardless of the sides everyone falls on, like her husband said, eight years is long enough to do something. Hopefully, she will find happiness in her future endeavors.
