Paul Grant Dies At 56
Paul collapsed at a London train station on Thursday and was said to have been discovered by the police. While he was taken to the hospital in the hope to be revived, the doctors declared him brain dead on Monday. However, the main cause of death is still unknown.
Since his death, families, and friends of Paul Grant have been sending their tributes.
His daughter Sophie Jayne who confirmed the news of his death told Sky News that she was heartbroken.
“I’m heartbroken. No girl deserves their dad to be taken away. He was so well known and loved. He’s gone too soon,” Sophie shared on Monday.
Sophie also opened up to The Sun about how she feels about the death of her dad. “I’m devastated,” she said before going on to praise her dad. She stated that her dad was a legend in so many ways.
She also noted that her dad was so funny and cheerful as he brought a smile to everyone’s face. Sophie praised Paul Grant’s sacrificial quality as she added that he would do anything for anyone.
Besides Paul Grant’s daughter, his girlfriend Maria Dwyer shared a heartwarming tribute about him.
“Paul was the love of my life,” she said. She further praised him for being the funniest man she ever met. “He made my life complete. Life is never going to be the same without him,” she added.
Paul Grant Was A Legend
Paul is popular for playing an Ewok in Return of the Jedi and a goblin in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. In addition, he starred alongside David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly as a member of the Goblin Corps in the 1986 blockbuster Labyrinth.
Other movies he starred in include Legend, a Tom Cruise movie from 1985, and Willow from 1988.
The Star Wars star Paul Grant will be greatly missed among his families, friends, and co-stars. One can only hope they are strengthened to bear the tragic loss.
