While Honkai: Star Rail is brimming with healers lately, no one can forget how great it was to have Lynx around. Furthermore, she even shadowed some of HSR‘s 5-star healers, such as Bailu. With the ability to cleanse detrimental effects and being able to heal over time, Lynx remains a strong, sustain character regardless of the team you have. However, to use Lynx properly, we’ve prepared a good healing build for her in Honkai: Star Rail.
Best Build for Lynx in Honkai Star Rail
[Updated on August 26, 2024 – Updated the guide’s information, links, and images]
As mentioned, Lynx is one of the best healers in Honkai: Star Rail, which is why making the right build and team comp for her is essential. She wields the Quantum element and belongs to the Path of Abundance. If you have been farming materials for Natasha or Bailu, you should be one step ahead to level her up. However, beyond getting her to the max level, there are a few things you need to make her the best healer out there. Here’s what we recommend you get for her build.
Light Cones
Light Cone | Description |
---|---|
Time Waits For No One (Best/5-Star) | Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 18% and Outgoing Healing by 12%. When the wearer heals allies, record the amount of Outgoing Healing. When any ally launches an attack, a randomly attacked enemy takes an Additional DMG equal to 36% of the recorded Outgoing Healing value. This additional DMG is of the same type as the wearer’s, is not affected by other buffs, and can only occur once per turn. |
Post-Op Conversation (4-Star) | Increases the Energy Regeneration Rate of its wearer by 8% and increases Outgoing Healing when they use their Ultimate by 12%. |
Hey, Over Here (4-Star) | Increases the wearer’s Max HP by 8%. When the wearer uses Skill, it increases Outgoing Healing by 16%, lasting for two turns. |
Time Waits For No One is a strange Light Cone but a good one for most healers. The gimmick is that, as long as you overheal an ally, an enemy will receive an extra attack in the form of the Quantum element, or at least that will be the case for Lynx. Furthermore, it increases her Outgoing Healing, which is great, but remember that Lynx heals over time, so even if she has a lot of Outgoing Healing, it’ll take a while to kick in.
If you don’t have the 5-Star Light Cone, Post-Op Conversation is the best, as it synergizes perfectly with Lynx’s skills. And if you’re lucky enough to own Hey, Over Here, it also does wonders with Lynx’s skill. Any way you look, both of these 4-Star Light Cones are great alternatives for this build.
Relics & Stats
Moving on to Lynx’s stats and relics for this Honkai: Star Rail build, you should focus on the Messenger Traversing Hackerspace set. We know it is an odd choice, especially because it isn’t the healing set, but Lynx’s healing output isn’t the greatest, so it is better to make her buff allies. However, you can always use Passerby of Wandering Cloud if you feel your team is too squishy. For the Planar Ornament, you can’t go wrong with Fleet of the Ageless, which will increase allies’ ATK after Lynx reaches an SPD threshold. Here are the stats you need for her:
Relic/Ornament | Stats |
---|---|
Body Piece | Outgoing Healing if she’s not healing enough or HP is you want her to be a bit “tankier.” The latter stat also helps with her skills. |
Feet Piece | Speed. |
Planar Sphere | HP |
Link Rope | Energy Regen Rate |
Best Team Composition
As mentioned, Lynx is a Quantum healer in Honkai Star Rail, and her build will make her shine on most team comps. Previously, she used to be great at mono-Quantum teams, but with the meta now different, here are a few options:
Role | Character |
---|---|
Main DPS | Firefly Kafka Clara |
Support | Trailblazer (Harmony) Pela Sparkle Black Swan |
Second Support | Robin Ruan Mei |
Sustain/Tank | Lynx |
I know these are many options, but Lynx tends to fit well in several compositions. A good one is Firefly with the Harmony Trailblazer alongside Pela or Ruan Mei and then Lynx. If you prefer a DoT team, go for Kafka, Black Swan, Pela or Ruan Mei, and Lynx. I would also recommend the mono-Quantum team of Seele or Xueyi, Silver Wolf, Fu Xuan, and Lynx, but it isn’t that common anymore.
And that’s a wrap on our Lynx build and team comp in Honkai: Star Rail. This Landau sibling is ready to show her survival skills and position herself as one of the most useful characters. So, don’t hesitate to pull for her and get the right things to make Lynx a force to be reckoned with.
