How to Build Teams for the Simulated Universe Part 2
[Updated on August 28, 2024 – Updated information and links]
- First, you should follow the general rule of thumb for building a team: Tank/Healer + Support/Debuffer + DPS. A well-balanced team is essential for success in Honkai Star Rail.
- Next, team placement is critical in Honkai Star Rail, as specific paths draw more base aggro, determining how often they get hit. Of course, this applies to Part 2 of the Simulated Universe and any other challenge in the game.
Therefore, you should place your tank (Preservation) units on one end of your team. They have the highest chance of getting hit. Besides them, you would place your Healer (Abundance) to soak up any AOE targeted at your tank. This allows them to recharge more energy alongside your tank. Finally, in the last two spaces, you would put your Support (Nihility/Harmony) and then your DPS (Erudition/Hunt/Destruction). These three classes should avoid getting hit the most.
Honkai Star Rail: Simulated Universe Part 2 Guide
When it comes to beating the Simulated Universe Part 2, the recommended level is 20. Make sure you look at the enemy’s weaknesses before jumping in. They are weak to Ice, Fire, Imaginary, and Lightning. So, naturally, the best team composition for this stage is March 7th, Serval, Asta, and Dan Heng. This is only assuming you have the starter characters and haven’t pulled for any of the new ones.
The boss fight itself is mechanically very easy. It is your first boss in the game with a new core mechanic. Kill off the summons as quickly as you can manage, and try to kill one of the two bosses first. After downing the first boss, all that is left is to down the second one, which triggers the core mechanic of a boss fight’s second phase; both revive once. They are stronger during their second life, but once killed in this phase, they do not revive a second time, and you can safely proceed to your clear.
