What are auctions?
The Auction house is one of the newest Introduction to the Pokémon Series. In Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you can find most of the necessary items by exploring the map and playing through the game. Also, you can buy some things from the shops scattered throughout the map. The auctions are the place where you can get rare, hard-to-find items.
In Paldea, the Auction is located in Porto Marinade. But to access the Auction, you must defeat Water Gym leader Kofu at Cascarrafa. Once you have done this, you can access the Auction. The items available in the Auction house change daily. So make sure you visit the Auction House once a day.
How do Auctions Work in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet?
Auctions work in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet like real-life auctions do. Players can bid on items, and the highest bidder wins the thing. The Auction House will announce which thing is up for Auction. The player can then bid on the item with other NPCs. The bidding process is similar to a real-life auction. The highest bidder wins the thing.
Once you approach the Auction house, you will see three stoles open for Bidding. If you have a Special Pokemon, you might get a chance to bid with four stalls one stall will have items to evolve and train your special Pokemon.
Once the Bidding starts, players can start bidding, and NPCs will start bidding too if you need to get in hand with that item. It would be best if you stayed with the Bidding. But be careful not to overbid, as you may end up paying more than the thing is worth!
Once the Bidding is finished, the winning bidder will be announced, and the item will be awarded to them.
