The Radar Booster can be deployed at the beginning of a planet run and used by the person who hands back at the ship to help the others find their way back. The monsters that come after you while you’re just trying to do your job can be terrifying. With the Radar Booster, the player on the ship can switch POVs to it and be able to call a lost player’s name to help them get back on track.

Navigating without knowing where you’re going is a little jarring, so the Radar Booster’s added help makes things a little less stressful. Many planets have complex maps and passageways, so this tool is essential if you have a poor memory or have trouble retracing your steps. In our experience, we didn’t need to use it if we paid close attention to the routes taken when we went out. However, ensuring that everyone on the squad has an equal chance of succeeding is still invaluable.
