Keep reading to learn how long Diablo 4 is and how many acts there are in the game.

The campaign should take around 20 hours to complete in Diablo 4 if you are doing a speed run. In previous games like Diablo 3, the campaign completion could be achieved in a similar time frame, hovering around the 18-hour mark. However, if you’re planning on completing the entire game and all the content within, you’re looking at around 90-100 hours of gameplay.

How Many Acts Are There in Diablo 4?

There are 6 main Diablo 4 acts within the campaign, including a prologue and an epilogue. Furthermore, there will be 8 different sections of the campaign that can be completed. You can find the names of each act in order, along with the prologue and epilogue below.

  • Prologue: Wandering
  • Act I: A Cold and Iron Faith
  • Act II: The Knife Twists Again
  • Act III: The Making of Monsters
  • Act IV: A Gathering Storm
  • Act V: Secrets Bartered, Fates Sold
  • Act VI: Dance of the Makers
  • Epilogue: From the Wound Spilled

Some may have experienced a bit of the prologue and Act I: A Cold and Iron Faith during the few betas that were active over the past few months. But for most players, this will be the first time experiencing the rest of the story. You will essentially begin in Sanctuary, where you will drink Lilith’s blood and experience visions of Lilith herself. The story begins through these visions along with several different encounters spanning the duration of Act I, and the details of the rest of the Diablo 4 acts will be revealed today when the game’s Early Access period begins.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
