Pocketpair’s latest games give players a vast archipelago to explore. With different locales to explore, gamers worldwide might want to know how many bases Palworld allows them to have. Thankfully, you can have more than one, meaning you can create a few homes in this world for you to rest, relax, and check on your assembly line after an adventure. Still, the road to get new bases is a long one, and you’ll need to level up quickly if you want to leave your mark in certain corners of this map.
Max Number of Bases in Palworld, Explained
Before we delve into numbers, we must make something clear. By bases, we mean those you make when setting down a Palbox. Any workbench and small refugee you build in the map doesn’t count as a base since you can’t make your Pals work there without a Palbox. With that out of the way, though, you can have three bases in Palworld. To unlock the ability to place more bases on the map, you must level up. The second base unlocks at base level 10, and the third one at base level 15. You can check your base’s level by heading to your Palbox and pressing the “V” key; you’ll also see your current missions.

Palworld Starter GuideBeyond your Pals working at a base, there’s another benefit of having two other places to call home. Remember that each time you place down a Palbox, you’ll unlock a new fast travel point. This is quite useful when hunting certain bosses or trying to find rare Pals in a new biome. For your bases, we recommend building them far from fast travel points; that way, you’ll get the option to teleport to a new location that doesn’t have a tower. Yet, if you prefer something more aesthetic, don’t worry about function and just plop your base down on a place you like. Ultimately, the world is your canvas, so feel free to settle down wherever you want.
