The soulslike action-adventure game Lies of P is split between chapters. The title features an elaborate story mode separated by multiple sections and with deep lore cuts to the classic Pinocchio tale by Carlo Collodi. You may want to know how many chapters there are in the title before starting. The game can be grueling and take up plenty of your time if not prepared correctly. While the game doesn’t have many chapters, it isn’t a short game, either.

Lies of P takes place in the town of Krat, based on the Belle Époque period from Europe’s history. Most of your playthrough revolves around exploring the city, fighting bosses, and telling truths or lies. The game has 11 chapters in total. The title doesn’t inform you when you start a new chapter. To figure out where you are in the story, you must visit a Stargazer to see what chapter you’re on. A new chapter typically begins when you enter a new area and not long after defeating a boss.

How Long Is Lies of P?

Despite Lies of P only having a few chapters, the game is fairly long because it features an elaborate setting and world that will take hours to explore and wander. Enemies and bosses are also difficult to fight against, taking up more of your time trying to defeat them. The title also has an engrossing narrative filled with colorful non-playable characters (NPCs) and a unique lying mechanic that determines what kind of ending you get.

Ultimately, it will take you between 30 to 40 hours to finish Lies of P. It will take you over 60 hours to fully complete the game. That’s a typical length for other soulslike titles, including Bloodborne, the main story in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Dark Souls.
