This is a fairly early-game boss you’ll encounter in Lies of P. You can cheese Mad Donkey, whose attacks are extremely difficult to read with careful use of Perfect Guard. When Mad Donkey tries to kill Geppetto, trapped in a car on a bridge, we come to the rescue and save our master in Lies of P. This chainsaw-wielding boss is extremely agile and fast, making it difficult to hit and read his moves. He also often delays his attacks, so Parrying can be challenging. Be prepared to use a lot of Pulse Cells in Lies of P for this boss fight.
How To Defeat the Mad Donkey in Lies of P
In Lies of P, you fight to save Geppetto on the bridge, and you can beat this boss in two different ways. The first is to take down him normally, and the second is the cheese strategy. First of all, let’s talk about defeating him normally.
Mad Donkey has three Attack Patterns, and they are as follows:
- His first combo is to raise his saw in the air and hit you with a delay.
- The second one is to quick slash attack from right to left.
- His third combo is Fury Attack. He will turn red and run towards you, swinging his sword horizontally left and right, and then he’ll hit you over the head for a total of 3 hits.
You can memorize his combos without attacking him for a while to easily defeat the Mad Donkey. Once you’ve learned enough of his combos, you can use your Perfect Guard skills to start dealing with Stagger Damage to him. You can then perform a Fatal Attack to really damage him.
How To Cheese the Mad Donkey in Lies of P
You can cheese this boss fairly easily in Lies of P. In this cheese method, your goal is to take advantage of the boss’s weakness and animations to get behind him and use Fatal Attack on him. The moment he holds his saw on the ground to prepare his Charged Attack is the best moment to get behind him.
Run towards the boss with your character and try to get behind the boss by dodging as he attacks you. When you see the Fatal Attack icon, attack immediately. By repeating this you can easily cheese the Mad Donkey in Lies of P.
