This guide will tell you how many Korok Seeds are hidden in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Number of Korok Seeds in Tears of the Kingdom
There are 900 Korok Seeds to collect in Tears of the Kingdom. You can find these little treasures scattered across the kingdom. Generally, you see them once you solve a small puzzle. There are many types of puzzles, all of which give you a Korok Seed after completion. Some of the Korok puzzle types are as below.
- Balloons: When you pop a Ballon in the game, you will receive Korok Seed, apart from Balloon puzzles on pinwheels.
- Rocks: You have to use your Ultrahand and move rocks to locate them in the correct order.
- Catching Dandelions: You can get a Korok Seed by blowing and chasing down a dandelion seed.
- Lifting Rocks: If an idle rock is on its way, there is an excellent chance to find Korok Seed inside of it.
- Flower Trails: When you touch a flower, it will disappear, and another will appear in a different direction. If you follow the flower trail correctly, you will be rewarded with Korok Seed.
- Missing Rocks: If you find any absent rocks you see in a rock formation, replace the missing rock, and you will get a Korok Seed.
These are some of the Korok puzzles you will encounter in the game. However, many others exist, such as Moving Sparks, Archery Pin Wheels, Chain Pulling, and Tree Stump Races.

Korok Seeds are scattered throughout the world of Hyrule. You can find them in many regions, such as Akkala, Eldin, Faron, Great Sky Island, Lanayru, Central Hyrule, Gerudo, Hebra, and Necluda.
Most of the players are still grinding through the game. Therefore, many Korok Seeds locations are still to find. However, you might find around 19 Korok Seeds on the Great Sky Island.
How to Increase Inventory Size With Korok Seeds
Korok Seeds are a valuable material primarily used to upgrade inventory slots. So, finding them as much as possible is essential for any player. In addition, it’s worth noting that you can trade them with Hestu, a merchant, once you have enough Korok Seeds. Hestu will upgrade your weapon, bow, and shield inventories as you wish. So, make sure to collect as many Korok Seeds as possible.
The number of Korok Seeds you’ll need for each additional inventory slot increases incrementally (the first upgrade is just one Korok Seed; the second is two, etc). Your weapon inventory is by far the largest. Here’s a rough overview
- Weapon stash – 13 available slots
- Bow stash – 8 available slots
- Shield stash – 7 available slots
