Do you have an epic solo run planned for Dark and Darker? Or maybe you and some friends are ready to brave the dungeons as a team? However you go about it, there’s one thing you should consider: how many players can join a Dark and Darker map. There are always limits so things aren’t ridiculously overwhelming. So, prep accordingly and you should have a great time once you load in.
Maximum Players Per Map in Dark and Darker
Dark and Darker features two different maximum players separated as follows:
- Standard Maps
- High-Roller Map
If you’re jumping into the regular Dark and Darker maps, you can be in a match with up to 18 players. However, that number goes up slightly in the High-Roller map. The High-Roller map is a high-stakes version of the standard maps, and you can’t even participate until you’re at least level 20. When you try for those matches, you can be in a lobby of up to 20 players.
How Many Players Per Team?
Players who go into Dark and Darker solo have no worries about other limitations. You’ll get into a match and go about your day. But if you want to join with friends, you should always keep in mind the party size limit. The Dark and Darker party size is limited to three people total. So, you can bring two other friends and the three of you can load into a lobby.
This limit remains static. So, no matter the type of Dark and Darker map you enter, you’ll only ever go with a team size of three with the same maximum number of players applied.
Now that you know how many players can join a lobby in Dark and Darker, you can better prep if you want to jump in with friends. Of course, the maximum number doesn’t guarantee that’s how many people will be in your lobby. Some people in solo lobbies may encounter less than eight other players, for instance. But you’ll never know until you join all the fun with everyone else.
Dark and Darker is available on PC.
