With the initial release of Genshin Impact 3.6 and new characters Baizhu and Kaveh quickly approaching, many players are looking to start grinding Primogems and Fates in preparation for their future Wishes. Luckily, the newest patch includes many ways for players to earn various rewards. Although Genshin Impact never releases a direct calculation of Primogems available, HoYoLAB user SoraHoshina has calculated an approximation of what players can expect. Despite many factors being consistent from patch to patch, some estimates go into the calculation, making it impossible to provide a 100% accurate value. Nonetheless, here’s how many Primogems should be available in Genshin Impact 3.6.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Features Many Primogems Up For Grabs
For free-to-play Travelers, Genshin Impact 3.6 has around 10,490 Primogems for players to earn. Alternatively, pay-to-play Travelers can expect a total of 14,270 Primogems.
The largest sources of Primogems comes from Genshin Impact events, Daily Commissions and the Spiral Abyss. These account for 2,520, 2,340, and 1,800 Primogems, respectively. However, these sources of Primogems are all time-sensitive. Players looking to receive all these rewards should log in every day to complete Daily Commissions and pay close attention to the event schedule of Genshin Impact 3.6.
Another large source of Primogems comes from Genshin Impact 3.6’s map, which introduces a new zone. Here, players should be able to collect around 2,100 Primogems from chests, quests and exploration. Unlike the previous Primogem sources, players can explore this zone with no time restrictions. Travelers can find smaller sources of Primogems from new Genshin Impact character quests, achievements, web events, and compensation for the Genshin Impact 3.6 update.
Pay-to-pay players can expect extra Primogems from Genshin Impact’s Blessing of the Welkin Moon. If players purchase this throughout Genshin Impact 3.6’s runtime, they will obtain 3,780 Primogems. By purchasing and completing the upgraded battle pass, an additional 680 Primogems will be rewarded.
On top of this, 16 Acquaint Fates and 5 Intertwined Fates are also up for grabs for all players, with an additional 5 Intertwined Fates available to those who have purchased the battle pass. Unlike Primogems, these Fates translate directly to Wishes in Genshin Impact. These should be obtained whenever possible through the in-game Paimon’s Bargain shop, the battle pass, and various quests. Players can also obtain more by leveling new Genshin Impact characters, Baizhu and Kaveh as well.
What Can Players Use Primogems And Fates For
In total, free-to-play players will amass around 86 Wishes for every single Genshin Impact 3.6 reward combined. Pay-to-play Travelers can expect 118 Wishes in total. For a guaranteed 50% chance to receive Genshin Impact’s banner characters, players will need around 90 Wishes, or 180 Wishes for a 100% chance. Based on the total amount of rewards, any player who receives all the Primogems will have at least a 50% chance to obtain Genshin Impact’s newest character, Baizhu.
Genshin Impact is available now on Android, iOS, PlayStation, and Windows.
