A major occasion has come around for Genshin Impact, as the newest major patch cycle, Version 4.0, has started. Alongside a new zone, characters, quests, and content, Genshin has also introduced new enemies. This includes an entirely new species of monster called the Clockwork Meka. While a few players have been powering through them, there is an easy way to defeat the Mekas without nearly as much effort. Here’s how to beat Clockwork Mekas quickly and easily in Genshin Impact.

How To Easily Beat Clockwork Mekas In Genshin Impact

The Clockwork Meka has a trick in order to beat it quickly in Genshin Impact.

The trick to beating Clockwork Mekas easily in Genshin Impact involves a unique mechanic surrounding Pneuma and Ousia energy. Players can pick up Energy Blocks of either type, allowing them to infuse their next attack with Pneuma or Ousia. Players can overload the creature by attacking a Clockwork Meka of the opposite type, causing it to shut down. For example, if a Meka is glowing blue, powered by Ousia energy, attacking it with a Pneuma Energy Block would be the best way to take it down. The same holds for the opposite energy type, with Ousia energy blocks taking down Pneuma creatures. After disabling the Meka, players can attack freely with their strongest damage before the creature re-enables itself. Hopefully, however, this will result in a beating Clockwork Meka easily, saving lots of time grinding in Genshin Impact.

The Clockwork Mekas are mechanical enemies that spawn around the Fontaine region. These enemies come in several varieties on the surface and in the new underwater areas. Although each kind of Meka has a unique attack pattern and stats, they all share one property that sets them apart from any enemy in the game. Fontaine’s newest energy sources, Pneuma and Ousia, are powered by these enemies. Around half the Mekas encountered will have Pneuma energy, causing them to glow yellow. The other half will have Ousia energy, which will cause them to glow blue. Though they can be difficult for some, there are ways to beat Clockwork Mekas in Genshin Impact easily.

Players will want to farm Clockwork Mekas to get their Meshing Gears. This resource will allow players to Ascend one of Genshin Impact 4.0’s newest characters, Lynette. Since every player can pick up Lynette for free at this time, grinding for Meshing Gears may be a high-priority task for players in Fontaine. The gears can also Ascend the weapons, Rightful Reward, and Tidal Shadow. Hopefully, with this new strategy, beating Clockwork Mekas in Genshin Impact quickly and efficiently will be a walk in the park.
