Do you want to know how to bring the Prism to Trace at the Apparatus in Fortnite? Chapter 4, Season 3 has introduced the Fortnite Wild with much new content and Optimus Prime. One of the new quest lines introduced with this update was Secret Prism quests. You need to find these Prisms and bring them to NPC Trace. If you have already played this questline’s first and second parts, it is time for the third part.
Fortnite: Bringing the Prism to Trace Part 3
You can complete the Secret Prism part 3 quest in Fortnite by acquiring the Prism inside the Southern Ruin and bringing it to NPC Trace. The exact location of the Prism and Trace is shown on the above map. Below are the steps you need to follow.
- Go to the location shown on the above map.
- Get inside the Ruin. Remember, the Prism only appears once you go there.
- Collect the Prism. Once you grab the Prism, the quest will start, also called the Explorer quest.
- Bring it to Trace at the Apparatus.

Once you complete the quest, you will receive 20,000 XP and a Shield Portion as rewards. The first two Prisms are in The Apparatus, where you find Trace and the west part of the Rumble Ruins. The third is located in the Southern Ruins.
Many players find it challenging to locate NPC Trace. Because it is not a POI, but with this guide, you will hopefully be able to locate him much easier.
