If you didn’t know, GTA Online tends to release new properties for players to buy, such as the Arcade. While it might seem like this property isn’t as useful as a Penthouse or even one of the many facilities on the map, it’s actually a great investment. This property opens the door for one of the game’s most fun heists, and you can get your money back in a matter of hours. So, if you have some hard-earned cash saved, it’s time to go Arcade shopping.

Before you attempt to buy an Arcade in GTA Online, you must do a few things for these properties to become available. As part of the Diamond Casino & Resort heist, you must head to Mirror Park and talk to Lester. This will start the Diamond Casino heist, the first step of which is becoming the owner of your Arcade. Once you finish the cutscene, you’ll see them on foreclosures.maze-bank.com as purchasable. You can buy any of the following:

  • Warehouse Arcade – $2,135,000.00
  • Videogeddon – $1,875,000.00
  • Eight-Bit – $2,530,000.00
  • Insert Coin – $2,345,000.00
  • Wonderama – $1,565,000
  • Pixel Pete – $1,235,000.00

We recommend buying the Videoggedon one. It is one of the closest to the city and facilitates access to many of the heist’s objectives. Even if you don’t like it too much, it’s a good place to begin the heist and then move on to a more expensive one.

Is Unlocking the Arcade Worth It?

Yes. While the Diamond Casino & Resort heist isn’t the most profitable right now, you can still get your first-time bonuses if you buy the Arcade in GTA Online and do the heist. Plus, you might even get some extra cash if this heist is featured on some of the game’s weekly updates, which happen constantly. Besides, it provides passive income, making it a good way to earn money while you’re focusing on other activities.

Setting Up the Arcade

Like other properties, you need to set it up. After purchasing the Arcade, you’ll be prompted with a mission to get the equipment to start running your business; however, there’s a catch. As soon as you arrive at the location where the equipment is, you’ll notice everyone is dead, and you must chase the thieves who stole the truck with the items you need to kick off your Arcade venture. The mission isn’t difficult, but you should bring a few friends to make it go faster. Once you finish it, you can start planning the heist and earn some cash.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money on the property, we recommend waiting for certain updates. Usually, some weeks bring huge discounts for Arcades, and the cheapest one can go for $800,000.00. If you have it, though, remember to register yourself as a CEO or MC President before using this property. Once you do, prepare to reap the rewards from this colorful business.
