You can start the Red Mist quest as soon as you get to Venice Beach. Several survivors will call for help in one of the buildings. And if you help them, you will unlock a new safe zone. Luckily, the Red Mist quest is very easy, as all you have to do is clear the area of zombies and close the gate. However, in reality, things are a little more complicated in Dead Island 2.

First of all, fighting off the zombies that roam the parking is pretty strong. You will even have to kill two Crushers, which can be quite dangerous. And after that, you will need to close the gate. But the parking attendant booth button won’t help you close the gate, as the circuit breaker is broken. Therefore, you need to find a way to fix it.

So, to close the gate in the Red Mist in Dead Island 2, you must find a working circuit breaker. More precisely, you will steal it, but who cares during the zombie apocalypse? The nearest circuit breaker is right across the street from the parking where you just killed the zombies. You can steal a working circuit breaker from the side of the building called Burger66.
