Completing the “A Monstrous Collection 4” quest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a bit tougher than the previous quests in the questline. Because now you have to find yourself a photo of a Frox for Kilton at Tarrey Town. This giant frog-like enemy is quite strong and only found in The Depth. For its specific locations, continue reading this Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom “A Monstrous Collection 4” quest walkthrough.

This time, Kilton will ask Hudson for a statue of a Frox. Just like before, take a picture and run to complete “A Monstrous Collection 4” in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Froxes are considered as a boss enemy, so locating one isn’t just hard but getting there can also be a challenge in itself.

According to the Hyrule Compendium, Frox will only spawn in the Depths of Gerudo Highlands and Central Hyrule. The creature can be easily found directly underneath several areas. Such as under Whistling Hill, Hyrule Field Skyview Tower, East Gerudo Chasm, or north of Akalla Citadel Chasm. With that in mind, bringing along Brightbloom Seeds as well Gloom Resistance Elixirs or Meal can be a good idea.

There are other types of Frox too, like the Obsidian and Blue-White Frox, and the quest objective works with any of them. You can also give Kilton photos of other enemies to make additional statues outside of the quest requirements. If you saw one from afar, complete “Monstrous Collection 4” in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom by following these steps:

  1. Activate the Camera feature on the Purah Pad by pressing the L button.
  2. Ensure that the Frox is properly framed within the Camera viewfinder. You should see the creature’s name displayed on your screen if the framing is correct.
  3. Capture a photo by pressing the A button. Remember to save the photo in your Album, as it is necessary to show it to Kilton.
  4. Keep in mind that photos submitted to the Compendium will not work for this quest. Additionally, the creature’s pose in the photo will be used as the sculpture pose.
  5. If you already have a Frox photo in your Album, you can skip this step and proceed to complete the “Monstrous Collection 3” Zelda Quest.

Place the statue on the stage with Ultrahand and speak with either Hudson or Kilton. Kilton will thank you and hand over a reward: a Monster Saddle and Monster Extract. With this, you have completed the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom “A Monstrous Collection 4” Side Adventure.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available on Nintendo Switch.
